Lifestyles of midwifery students (6203492507)
The study aimed to determine the lifestyle of the students of the School of Obstetrics of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the National University of Tumbes 2018. It was a descriptive cross-sectional type, the population studied consisted of a total of 128 students, which met the inclusion and exclusion criteria; the method used was the survey and as a technique the interview, included in its structure 26 questions about lifestyle, distributed in four dimensions. The results of the research show that, with respect to the dimension of physical activity, only 30.5% do not practice it; in the dimension of eating habits 60% were adequate and 40% inadequate; in the dimension of sleep - stress, the quality of sleep was 30% optimal and 70% inadequate; and in the dimension of consumption of toxic substances 20% did not consume and 80% did consume such substances; in conclusion, according to the results obtained for the healthy lifestyle there is a predominance in the dimensions of physical activity and eating habits with 70% and 60%; likewise in the unhealthy lifestyle the dimensions of sleep - stress and consumption of toxic substances prevail with 70% and 80% respectively. Meanwhile, the unhealthy lifestyle prevails on average with 55.125%.
