Sixth collection of short documentary films produced by the Rank Organisation in the 1960s to show at the Odeon and Gaumont cinemas. The shorts were designed to replace cinematic newsreels, which had been rendered largely redundant by the increasing prevalence of television sets and televisual news broadcasts. This volume contains 45 digitally restored films, many unseen since their initial cinematic broadcast, that explore themes relating to world affairs.
