Nick Hornby writes this five-part BBC comedy drama based on the book by Nina Stibbe. Set in the 1980s, the series follows 20-year-old Nina (Faye Marsay) as she moves into the North London home of literary editor, and single mother, George (Helena Bonham Carter) to be the new nanny to her two young sons Joe and Max (Ethan Rouse and Harry Webster). Unqualified and feeling out of her depth in the capital, after moving from Leicester, Nina tries to adjust to the bohemian world she finds herself in while trying her best to care for George's two young and wild boys. Along the way she forges new relationships and ponders avenues for the future while writing about her experiences in letters home to her sister.
