Margaret Leng Tan: Sorceress Of The New Piano/The Maverick Piano (UK-import)
Two films directed by Evans Chan, charting the life and work of pianist Margaret Leng Tan. 'Sorceress of the New Piano' (2004) includes excerpts of performances including John Cage's 'Daughters of the Lonesome Isle' and Satie's 'Gymnopédie No. 3'. The second film, 'The Maverick Piano' (2007) includes, among others, complete performances of Cage's 'In a Landscape' and Toby Twining's 'Satie Blues'.
