Matthew Bourne's The Red Shoes (UK-import)
Matthew Bourne choreographs this performance based on the 1948 film and using the music of American composer Bernard Herrmann. Set in the 1940s and '50s, Victoria Page (Ashley Shaw) is a ballerina who is given the opportunity to perform with the much-lauded Boris Lermontov (Adam Cooper) in Monte Carlo. However, when she falls in love with composer Julian Craster (Dominic North) Lermontov makes her decide between her love or her career.
