An important development in the scientific study of religion over the past decade has been an increasing number of studies that have convincingly documented positive relationships between religious involvement and physical and mental health outcomes. Each month new studies emerge about how religious belief affects well-being: belief in a loving, forgiving God is linked to slower progression of HIV; pro-religious people have better health. The study explore different facets of spirituality and religiosity, and different types of health. And showing us how religion is a major source of coping with participants mental and other life problems. So, in this study we show how religious beliefs and practices are commonly used by both medical and psychiatric patients to cope with illness and other stressful life events. In this study, we also talked about mind-body connection. How thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and attitudes can positively or negatively affect our bio-psycho-physical health.
