Maria Lindberg directs this children's animation based on the lives of the Moomin characters created by Tove Janssen. A seemingly calm summer's day in Moomin Valley is disrupted when a volcano above the village erupts. While the Moomin family try to find somewhere to stay away from the volcano, they stumble upon an old theatre. Adventures and imaginations run wild as the Moomins write a play to fill their time.
