Munich 72: The Secrets Behind The 1972 Olympic Terrorist Attack (UK-import)
Documentary from German director Wilfried Huismann exploring the horrific events of the 5th of September in 1972, when Palestinian terrorists stormed the Olympic village in Munich, murdering two Israeli athletes and taking nine more hostage. After a confused negotiation period and a failed rescue attempt, the hostages and five of the terrorists were dead. Huismann interviews the sole surviving Palestinian terrorist as well as leading members of the crisis team to examine exactly what happened, and what went wrong.
