Former special forces operative Ant Middleton recreates the journey taken by Captain William Bligh and his men in 1789 after a large portion of his crew revolted against his leadership in a plot that became known as the Mutiny on the Bounty. Captain Bligh was removed from HMS Bounty and placed in a small sailing boat with his few remaining loyal men. Lost in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, they defied all the odds and made it to safety, completing a journey of more than 4,000 miles. Along with eight companions consisting of a doctor, a carpenter and several experienced sailors, Ant re-enacts the gruelling journey to prove that Bligh was not a villain but a hero.
