Nikolaus Harnoncourt: Opera Collection (UK-import)
Nikolaus Harnoncourt conducts the Zurich Opera House Orchestra and Chorus in this collection of three operas. Beethoven's 'Fidelio', performed in 2004, features Camilla Nylund, Jonas Kaufmann and László Polgár. Peter Seiffert and Inga Nielsen star in a 1999 production of 'Der Freischütz', composed by Carl Maria von Weber. Finally, Juliane Banse and Martin Gantner are among the cast for Schumann's 'Genoveva', recorded in 2008.
