Njinga The Queen King - The Return Of A Warrior (UK-import)
Live performance of the musical theatre production about the 17th century African warrior and ruler of Ndongo, composed by Pauline Oliveros. In addition to Oliveros' score, traditional Kongolese music arranged by Titos Sompas, and Brazilian music arranged by the Nego Gato also feature. This performance was recorded at the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Next Wave Festival in 1993.
