Not Only - But Always (UK-import)
Television dramatisation of the relationship between influential comedians Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, written and directed by Terry Johnson. Credited as the inventors of modern British satire, the film charts the highs and lows of these two very different comedians, whose careers and private lives were often as anarchic as their humour. It follows from their first meeting as Cambridge undergraduates in 1960, through to their beginnings in Beyond the Fringe and into their later TV performances as the legendary Pete and Dud and Derek and Clive. Rhys Ifans stars as Peter Cook, while Aidan McArdle stars as Dudley Moore.
