Ray, a humble, comfortable metals analyst, barely survives a terrorist attack on his city. Forever changed, he quits his job to become a full-time father so he can give his son Billy the protection and attention he deserves. Ray moves with his wife Penny and Billy to an apparently ideal town and for a time finds his fatherhood odyssey fulfilling.
