Marcel Wehn's film, made over a period of two years, explores Wim Wenders' post-war education and his time at the Munich Film School, before moving on to the films of the 1970s that brought him international recognition. As well as examining the themes featured in many of his best known films, the documentary also features contributions from those that have known him both professionally and privately throughout his career.
