Romulus Vs. Remus - The First King / Il Primo Re (UK-import)
Italian historical drama directed by Matteo Rovere. Following a flash flood that kills their sheep, brothers Romulus (Alessio Lapice) and Remus (Alessandro Borghi) are captured by White Knights from Alba and brought before a Vesta priestess (Tania Garribba) where they are made to contest in deadly duels against other prisoners. Despite being destitute the brothers attempt an audacious escape plan which includes capturing the priestess. However, as they flee from their captors the priestess announces that Romulus or Remus will build a great empire if one brother kills the other. Will her prophecy ring true or can the brothers maintain their loyalty to one another?
