Renée Fleming leads the cast in this Metropolitan Opera performance of Antonín Dvorák's opera. When Rusalka (Fleming), a mermaid blessed with immortality, falls in love with Prince Rusalka (Piotr Beczala) she is informed by a witch (Dolora Zajick) that the only way to win his heart is to drink a potion that will render her human. Will she risk everything for love? The performance is directed by Otto Schenk and conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
