Saint Valentines Day Massacre
Little Steven Van Zandt, kjent som Bruce Springsteens høyre hånd gjennom mange år og som den stilfulle Sil i Sopranos, driver også det velkjente undergrunnsplateselskapet Wicked Cool. De fem jentene i Oslo-bandet Cocktail Slippers gir med Saint Valentine's Day Massacre ut sin andre skive på selskapet (deres tredje totalt). Av de tolv allsangvennlige garasjepoplåtene på albumet er to skrevet og produsert av Van Zandt, inkludert tittelsporet. Som han selv sier: "I'm seeing a coming all-girl-band trend and it will be led by the Cocktail Slippers. They are the perfect role models for a new generation. They're talented, they understand Rock and Roll is a craft and they work hard at it, and they never stop wanting to learn and improve. They've got soul and they're the best."
