Text in English, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish. What happens when the literature is part of interaction with other art forms and other media? In this anthology, the spotlight on interartic and intermediate forms was based on Nordic literature. The articles include illustrative books, described pictures, comics, text collages, adaptations of literature to film and digital media, the fear of the image's power, the musicality of the book, book objects, and lateral performativity. Historic lines are drawn and theoretical perspectives discussed. It is about how the literature, before and now, reexpresses and tends over its art-wide possibilities, while at the same time the very idea of pure forms and clear boundaries is undermined.
