Santiago 1990 - FM Radio Broadcast Recording
David Bowie’s Sound+Vision Tour was a lengthy 1990 tour, billed as a greatest hits jaunt in which Bowie would retire his back catalogue of songs from live performance. The tour opened at the Colisée de Québec in Quebec City, Canada on 4 March and concluded at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 29 September 1990. The event spanned five continents across seven months and surpassed Bowie's previous Serious Moonlight (1983) and Glass Spider (1987) tour statistics by visiting 27 countries with 108 performances. The penultimate show took place at Chile’s Rock In Chile festival, held at Santiago’s Estadio Nacional de Chile on 27th September 1990, where Bowie and his band played a staggering set of classics, that rocked the 60,000+ audience within an inch of its life. Previously unreleased, despite being recorded for both live TV transmission and FM Radio broadcast, this new CD set features the entire concert making it a top-drawer collectable which will no doubt find a corner in every decent Bowie collection the world across.
