Double bill of silent Westerns directed by the eminent John Ford and starring Harry Carey as outlaw Cheyenne Harry. In 'Straight Shooting' (1917) Cheyenne Harry is hired to protect a rancher and his family from being kicked off their land by the wealthy Thunder Flint (Duke Lee). In 'Hell Bent' (1918), following a poker game that turned into a shootout, Cheyenne Harry finds himself on the run. However, when Harry learns that one of the dance hall girls (Neva Gerber) was taken hostage he sets about ensuring her freedom.
