Collection of shows from the initial 1950s and 1960s run of the popular entertainment show 'Sunday Night at the London Palladium'. One of the first shows to establish TV as a popular medium, the programme enjoyed peak viewing figures of 14 million and was one of the most talked about TV shows of its day. Among the hosts of the show were Tommy Trinder, Bruce Forsyth and Jimmy Tarbuck, who would each week introduce a number of the top celebrities, musicians and comedians of their time to the crowd. The performers include Cliff Richard, Bob Monkhouse and Rod Hull.
