The Boat Builder (UK-import)
Christopher Lloyd stars in this drama written and directed by Arnold Grossman. Widower Abner (Lloyd) lives on his own in a small coastal town away from the rest of society. Although a close community, Abner isolates himself from everyone else, choosing to spend his days building a boat in his garden. His life changes however when he meets nine-year-old orphan Rick (Tekola Cornetet) who, fleeing from bullies, hides in Abner's yard. Although at first dubious about the whole situation, Abner eventually comes around and decides to help protect the boy. The cast also includes Jane Kaczmarek, Jeffrey Weissman and David Lascher.
