The Changeover (UK-import)
Miranda Harcourt and Stuart McKenzie direct this New Zealand thriller based on the novel by Margaret Mahy. When her four-year-old brother Jacko (Benji Purchase) becomes ill, 16-year-old Laura (Erana James) soon begins to suspect he has become possessed by an evil spirit. Seeking help from a local witch, Laura is encouraged to 'changeover' from her normal life and become a witch herself in order to overpower the evil spirit, send it back to the darkness and save her brother's life. The cast also includes Timothy Spall, Melanie Lynskey and Lucy Lawless.
