The Constant Husband (1955) (UK-import)
British comedy written and directed by Sidney Gilliat. Rex Harrison stars as a man who wakes up on the Welsh coast with no memory of who he is or how he arrived there. With the help of a Cardiff psychiatrist (Cecil Parker), he uncovers that he owns a large London home and is married to a beautiful wife. However, further detective work reveals a string of further wives and capacious homes, and a pattern of repeated bad behaviour by his former self that shocks him to the core. Can he now break the pattern and stop himself from repeating the mistakes of his past?
