The Creature Below (UK-import)
Anna Dawson stars in this British horror co-written and directed by Stewart Sparke. When marine biologist Dr. Olive Crown (Dawson) is assigned to test the capabilities of a fellow scientist's experimental exosuit, she takes a submersible to an oceanic trench deep underwater. Once there she is suddenly confronted with an impossibly large creature from which she narrowly escapes. But she realises that during her escape one of the beast's eggs became lodged in her equipment. As the egg begins to hatch, Olive becomes psychologically bound to the creature through supernatural means and is driven to restore a primordial race of gods to their full power.
