The French Romantic Experience
To provide an initial account of 10 years of musical rediscovery, the Palazzetto Bru Zane is bringing out a boxed set of 10 CDs showcasing extracts from some of the works that have been unearthed: a wide spectrum (1780-1920) of music is presented, spanning tragedie lyrique, opera, operetta and cafe-concert, cantata, sacred music, orchestral music, concertante music, chamber music, piano music and melodie. This boxed set also includes recordings made in collaboration with labels working in partnership with the Palazzetto Bru Zane since 2009.
