The 1950's were a boom decade for Rock 'n' Roll movies, most of which were built around tales of teenagers (the prime target audience for box office and record sales) growing up, breaking through and doing their own rebellious (and rocking) thing. The films were packed with the rising stars of the day and spawned a huge series of soundtracks, the musical content of which often surpassed the quality the films they scored. Rock-legends like Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Little Richard, Cliff Richard and many more all appeared on the big screen and more importantly on the accompanying soundtracks, 25 of which are presented here as original albums in exclusive remastered quality.
