The Heyday of British Steam (UK-import)
A collection of six programmes featuring images from the heyday of British steam, captured by a handful of amateur cameramen on 8mm cine cameras. The first programme features London, the South Midlands and the South West, the second features the East Midlands and the North East of England, the third features Birmingham, the North Midlands and Wales, the fourth features the West Midlands, the North and the North West and the fifth features London, the Isle of Wight and Scotland. Finally, the sixth programme offers an insight into the world of Fred Dibnah, from chimney felling to a visit to the world's largest steam rally.
