The High Command (1937) (UK-import)
Lionel Atwill stars in this 1930s drama based on a novel by Lewis Robinson. Decorated British army general Sir John Sangye (Atwill) has a dirty secret: before being stationed in Africa, he murdered a man in Ireland in a fit of jealous rage, then blamed his death on the actions of Sinn Fein rebels. The past comes back to haunt him when the army doctor who was the sole witness to his crime turns up at his garrison. James Mason co-stars.
