The House By The Sea (UK-import)
French drama co-written and directed by Robert Guédiguian. After their father suffers a debilitating stroke, three siblings, Angèle, Joseph and Armand (Ariane Ascaride, Jean-Pierre Darroussin and Gérard Meylan) reunite at their childhood home to visit their ailing father and begin reflecting on their lives as they decide how to settle his estate. While Joseph has remained close to the seaside villa, the reunion proves particularly painful for his siblings, as Angèle is forced to return to the site of her daughter's accidental death and Armand arrives having been forced into early retirement and in a relationship approaching its breaking point.
