The Indian Doctor: Series 2 (UK-import)
All five episodes from the second series of the BBC comedy drama starring Sanjeev Bhaskar as an Indian doctor who ends up in a sleepy Welsh mining village in the 1960s. In this series, Dr Prem Sharma (Bhaskar) and his wife Kamini (Ayesha Dharker) have been living in the village for almost a year. When the community face a smallpox epidemic, Prem works hard to ensure everyone is vaccinated but finds himself opposed by evangelist minister Herbert Todd (Mark Heap). Meanwhile, Prem's disapproving mother-in-law Pushpa (Indira Joshi) comes to visit. The episodes are: 'Foreign Bodies', 'Immunity', 'The Miracle', 'Quarantine' and 'The Source'.
