Erez Pery co-writes and directs this German drama. While Nazi commander Rudolf Höss (Romanus Fuhrmann) awaits trial in a Warsaw prison in 1946, Polish judge Albert (Maciej Marczewski) is sent to interrogate him about his involvement in the Holocaust. Hoping for a confession, Albert asks Höss to detail his time as commandant of Auschwitz in which he was responsible for the systematic mass killing of Jews. Can Albert make him confess to the true enormity of his crimes before his sentencing?
