One of the best British sitcoms of all-time, The Likely Lads focuses on the friendship between two working-class men, James Bolam and Rodney Bewes, living in the north east of England. With distaste, Thelma remembers Terry from the past and she is aghast that he returns to interrupt their cosy new lives and exert what can only be his customarily poor influence over her easily led fiancé.
