Collection of three limited series. 'The Outsider' (2020) is a ten-part crime drama based on the novel by Stephen King. In Cherokee City, Georgia, Detective Ralph Anderson (Ben Mendelsohn) is tasked with investigating the gruesome murder of a young boy. Eyewitness accounts and forensic evidence lead to the arrest of youth baseball coach Terry Maitland (Jason Bateman). However, the discovery of conflicting evidence proves Terry's innocence, leading Ralph to enlist the help of private investigator Holly Gibney (Cynthia Erivo), who uncovers a disturbing pattern of killings across the country. Set in an alternate reality, the show follows costumed police officer Angela Abar aka Sister Night (Regina King) as she investigates the murder of her boss, Chief of Tulsa Police Judd Crawford (Don Johnson), and in the process uncovers a vast conspiracy involving white supremacist group the Seventh Kavalry and her own family. The next morning he finds her stabbed to death in his bed. With no recollection of the previous night's events, Naz flees the scene but is quickly brought in by the city's police and identified as the main suspect for the victim's murder. After he is denied a legal representative, defence lawyer John Stone (John Turturro) steps in to help Naz prove his innocence. As he awaits prosecution on Rikers Island, Naz adapts to the politics of life on the inside while his legal team try to piece together what happened on the night of the crime.
