Nicholas McCarthy directs this horror following a mother's struggle with her son's increasingly inexplicable behaviour. From infancy, Miles (David Kohlsmith/Jackson Robert Scott) has been intellectually advanced beyond his years and surprised both parents and teachers with his ability to learn and adapt much quicker than other children his age. However, when Miles begins to act strangely and his behaviour becomes violent, his mother, Sarah (Taylor Schilling) begins to question whether there may be something seriously wrong with her son.
