Collection of four films starring Richard Pryor. In 'Brewster's Millions' (1985) minor league baseball player Montgomery Brewster (Pryor) stands to inherit $300 million from his recently deceased great-uncle, but only if he can first spend $30 million in 30 days without letting anyone in on the reason. If he fails, the fortune will instead be divided amongst charities with his law firm taking a large cut for their services. As he gets to grips with the value of money, Brewster's task proves much harder than he'd imagined, even with the assistance of his teammate Spike Nolan (John Candy). In 'The Wiz' (1978) kindergarten teacher Dorothy (Diana Ross) lives a sheltered life, but when she unwittingly stumbles into the Land of Oz she gains companions that are also struggling, together with whom she seeks the help of the great wizard of the Emerald City. 'Car Wash' (1976) follows a team of employees and their encounters with a myriad of peculiar characters, including a man devoutly preaching about the wonders of money. Finally, in 'Which Way Is Up?' (1977) Leroy Jones (Pryor) inadvertently joins a union and is sacked by his employers. Setting out to find work, Leroy falls for union worker Vanetta (Lonette McKee) and is given his job back when his former employers realise he's a soft touch. However, his new managerial position doesn't go down well with his former friends, and he soon finds himself alienated and struggling to stop his life from spiralling out of control.
