Miroslav Slaboshpitsky writes and directs this silent drama about the residents of a Ukranian boarding school for deaf and mute children. Communicating to the audience solely through Ukranian sign language, the film tells the story of new student Sergey (Grigoriy Fesenko) who begins his educational journey at the school, but all he seems to learn is what it takes to be in a gang. One of the gangs has been prostituting two of the girls out at a local truck stop where they earn money to give to the school. When Sergey falls in love with one of the girls, Anna (Yana Novikova), he finds himself trying to rescue her from the gang leader's plans to expand the business.
