Brazilian drama from director Sérgio Machado. Gifted violinist Laerte (Lázaro Ramos) finds himself teaching music lessons in a rough public school after botching his audition for the São Paulo State Symphony. His new vocation proves challenging but Laerte gradually begins to connect to his students which, in turn, has a positive effect on him.
