Drama directed by Gordon Parry and starring Glynis Johns and Dermot Walsh. When Joan Burns (Johns) faces questioning over a recently committed crime and her suspected involvement, she begins to recount the events leading up to the crime, beginning with when her taxi was commandeered by a man who claimed to be a police officer. Discovering his wallet in her taxi, Joan follows the man and discovers that he is called Lucky (Walsh) and that he is a prolific gambler. Lucky thinks that Joan must be a lucky charm for him and she joins him on his gambling escapade, but soon attracts the attention of a rival gambler and sparks a chain of events leading back to the crime and her investigation by the police.
