The series follows the bizarre and whimsical antics of the residents of the fictional island of Jinsy, where couples are paired up by a 'wedding lottery' in an attempt to keep the gene pool clean, and the authorities keep a close eye on the eccentric locals with the help of coin-operated 'tesselator' surveillance machines.
