The Swedish 6-piece orchestra Brigaden have been described as "an instrumental mix of Neutral milk hotel, Nino Rota and beirut where delicate horn arrangements do the lead vocals parts.", while this sounds exciting it may not be be hitting the spot..Because Brigaden is truly their own. Brigaden is hailing from Malmö and "Tjocka stenen" is their third album (and the first one being released on Sing a song fighter.) Up 'til now they have been one of Sweden's most underrated band with their excellent compositions and heartfelt melodies that in fact possess the power to move mountains...And if not moving mountains, they can, indeed, move you..The new 12-track album is their best work to date and will finally put them and their unique music on the musical map for real.
