Vincent Price stars in this historical drama directed by Roger Corman. After his brother is selected to be the new king, an enraged Richard of Gloucester (Price) kills him in a murderous rage in order to take the throne for himself. Although wracked with guilt, he continues to murder those around him in order to achieve his ultimate goal. Unable to cope, Richard is haunted by the ghosts of those he has killed and quickly loses control as he descends into madness. The cast also includes Michael Pate, Joan Freeman and Robert Brown.
