Triple bill of children's animated adventures. In 'Monsters Vs. Aliens' (2009), when a meteorite from outer space crashes into a young girl, Susan (voice of Reese Witherspoon), and turns her into a 50-foot monster, she is taken to a secret government compound where she meets a ragtag group of monsters who have been similarly rounded up and hidden away. As a last resort on the part of the government, the motley crew of monsters are called into action to fight an army of invading aliens. Can Susan and her fellow monsters save the world from imminent destruction? In 'Home' (2014), when the alien race known as the Boov, headed up by Captain Smek (Steve Martin), decides to invade Earth and make it their new home after their enemies declare war upon their planet, they set about evicting and rehousing the entire human race. One human, a young girl called Tip (Rihanna) manages to avoid being captured and goes on the run where she meets young Oh (Jim Parsons), a Boov who has been banished by his people after he accidentally told their enemies where they were. As Tip and Oh become friends they decide the best plan of action is to work together. Finally, 'Abominable' (2019) follows the adventures of a young girl named Yi (Chloe Bennet) and her Yeti friend, Everest. One day, while daydreaming about travelling the world, she is shocked to discover a Yeti living on the rooftop of an apartment building. Yi names the Yeti Everest, and the two soon become friends. However, Everest is on the run from an extremely rich collector named Burnish (Eddie Izzard) who wishes to capture him and move him far away from his family in the Himalayas. Assisted by Yi, Everest manages to make it back home and along the way the pair discover each other's magical abilities.
