Cesc Gay writes and directs this canine comedy-drama starring Ricardo Darín and Javier Cámara. Terminally ill Julián (Darín) in Spain receives an unexpected visit from his friend Tomás (Cámara) from Canada. A wary Julián believes Tomás has arrived to dissuade him from ending his treatment as he has planned. Tomás, however, accompanies Julián around Madrid as he settles his affairs including the fate of his loyal dog Truman who he seems to be more concerned about than himself.
