Action thriller starring Jean-Claude Van Damme as ex-marine Daniel living a relatively solitary existence in Washington D.C. and heavily dependent on painkillers. Meanwhile, Lucas (Elijah Rodriguez) is a 14-year-old involved with the local gang, led by the ruthless Rincon (Daniel Castaneda), but who is determined that his ten-year-old brother Miguel (Nicholas Sean Johnny) should not follow in his footsteps. However, Rincon demands Lucas take part in a dangerous deal with a drug cartel that implicates Miguel and leads to the young pair falling foul of Rincon and the others. As the gang pursue them Daniel becomes their only hope for survival.
