European drama written and directed by Valeska Grisebach. The film revolves around a group of German construction workers who are building a new water power station in the Bulgarian countryside. Their presence prompts hostility from some of the locals and tensions escalate further when former legionnaire Meinhard (Meinhard Neumann) attempts to ingratiate himself with the local community rather than joining his colleagues in their after-hours bonding, actions they do not take kindly to. With tempers flaring, it's not long before their open hostilities come to a head.
