Charles Ahearn's landmark documentary provides a street-level view of New York's hip-hop pioneers in the early 80s. Young graffiti artist Zoro (Lee Quinones) links the various performers together as he journeys through the Big Apple's most creative outposts, bumping into the likes of Grandmaster Flash, Rocksteady Crew, Double Trouble, Cold Crush, Fab 5 Freddy, Patty Astor and Zephyr.
