British horror directed by Don Sharp. An ancient rivalry between the Lanier and Whitlock families resurfaces when Amy Whitlock (Diane Clare) and Todd Lanier (David Weston) decide to marry against their families' wishes. When the Lanier family carries out developing work in the Whitlock estate they accidentally disturb the grave of Vanessa Whitlock (Yvette Rees), a witch buried alive by the Whitlocks centuries before. Resurrected from the grave, Vanessa proceeds to get her revenge on the descendants of her aggressors with the help of her fellow family members.
