Wall Calendar 2022. In his long, remarkable career, Wolf Kahn created hundreds of landscape paintings that effuse glowing color, inviting us to experience light and trees, barns and rivers in wholly new ways. Never one to eschew bright pastels in representing woods and skies, Kahn was a maverick in how he filled the canvas. He once said, I enjoy making something austere and dramatic out of the color pink.. His unique approach of employing spontaneity while creating representational scenes produced a body of work that is as pleasurable as it is deeply moving.
