Yuri Temirkanov At The BBC Proms (UK-import)
Renowned Russian conductor Yuri Temirkanov leads the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra on their first visit to the Proms in 1992. Featured works include Berlioz: Overture, 'Le Corsaire' op. 21, Tchaikovsky: Manfred Symphony op.58, Elgar: Variation No.9 (Nimrod) and Prokofiev: 'The Death of Tybalt' from 'Romeo and Juliet'.
